Sorair Technologies develops Soranet, a hardware-agnostic platform that uses drones, autonomous vehicles and AI software to automate security surveillance. It is aimed at large, complex sites such as warehouses, ports and utility infrastructure, where it handles scheduled patrols, threat detection and incident response from a central control room. In 2025 the company received UK Civil Aviation Authority approval for beyond-visual-line-of-sight drone operations. Sorair also runs a drone flight school and is based at Westcott Venture Park near Aylesbury, with backing from SFC Capital, PI Labs, Techstars and Haatch.
