Lendable is a London-based consumer lender founded in 2014 that uses automated, data-driven underwriting to offer personal loans, credit cards and car finance, typically through price-comparison and credit-score partners such as ClearScore, MoneySuperMarket and TransUnion. Its model funds loans largely through institutional investors rather than retail deposits, and the business is profitable, with reported 2025 revenue of over £446m. In March 2022 it raised £210m led by Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan's Teachers' Innovation Platform at a valuation above £3.5bn, making it one of the UK's most valuable fintechs. The company was co-founded by chief executive Martin Kissinger and has expanded into the US market.
