What happened

allplants made frozen plant-based ready meals in its own Walthamstow kitchen and sold them direct to consumers by subscription, later adding retail listings. Founded by brothers Jonathan and Alex Petrides, it raised a £38M Series B in October 2021 led by Draper Esprit (now Molten Ventures), described at the time as the largest Series B for a European plant-based food company. On 22 November 2024 Will Wright and Howard Smith of Interpath were appointed joint administrators by the High Court. Production at the London site stopped and 65 staff were made redundant. In February 2025 the administrators sold the brand name and brand assets to Ella and Matthew Mills, who folded them into their Plants business rather than relaunching allplants products. The company was dissolved on 17 February 2026.

What happened to the assets, customers and team

Trading ceased on administration with 65 redundancies at the London kitchen. The brand and brand assets were sold to Ella and Matthew Mills (Plants) in February 2025 for an undisclosed sum; Interpath continued to market the East London manufacturing site separately. The company was dissolved in February 2026.

In their words

The Allplants brand had grown to become synonymous with ethically produced, healthy, plant-based nutrition

I'm excited to see where Ella, Matthew and team take things.
