What happened

Collider was a London accelerator for advertising, marketing and commerce technology start-ups, founded in 2012 as Collider12 by Rose Lewis and Andrew Tait. It raised programme capital from agency and brand executives who also mentored the cohorts, including through Seedrs campaigns in 2014 and 2016, and invested in around ten companies per programme, reporting 34 portfolio companies across four programmes by 2016. The management company, Collider Management Ltd (formerly Collider12 (Management) Ltd), filed its last micro-company accounts for the year to November 2018, received a first Gazette notice for compulsory strike-off in January 2021 and was dissolved on 13 April 2021. The Collider website now presents an Amsterdam entity, Collider NL BV, and states that it is focused on portfolio growth and not investing in new companies, with no news published since March 2023.

What happened to the assets, customers and team

London management company dissolved by compulsory strike-off; the nominee company holding portfolio shareholdings (Collider Nominees Ltd, 08124837) remains active, and the brand continues only as a non-investing Dutch entity.
