Nothing is a London-headquartered consumer-electronics company founded in 2020 by Carl Pei, co-founder of OnePlus. It designs and sells smartphones under the Nothing and CMF brands, along with earbuds, watches and accessories, distinguished by transparent industrial design and its own Nothing OS software. In September 2025 the company closed a $200m Series C led by Tiger Global at a $1.3bn valuation, with GV, Highland Europe, EQT and Qualcomm Ventures among participants, taking total funding to more than $450m. It followed with a community investment round of over $8m from more than 5,000 backers, announced plans to spin off CMF, opened its first retail store in India in 2026 and has said it aims to be IPO-ready within three years.
